It would be nice to field a defense like either of these teams.

I wanted us to hire Ron Rivera to replace parcells.

Oh well

Well, that's when the debate was over whether to stick with the 3-4... Rivera was a definite 4-3 guy. Team wasn't willing to make that change, then.

And as has been mentioned, he was for sure on the hot seat this past season. If his team hadn't turned it around, he probably wouldn't have lasted the whole season.

That's not true at all, Rivera had coached in a number of defenses and played for buddy Ryan's 46 scheme.

He coached San Diego's 34 in 07 replacing wade.

He would have been a great fit to run our defense with the payers we had, very versatile coach who players like.

Bottom line is Jerry wasn't going to give the keys to a guy he didn't know or more likely didn't respect.

These are 2 good, hard-nosed football teams, but virtually every player of note on either team is a punk. Really hard not to dislike both sides. It's like being socially ******** is becoming a prerequisite to being an NFL player.

Carolina needs to score here or it could get out of their grasp.

.

Now see, when I think of a "punk" I think of someone I wouldnt mind squaring up with I were to see them in the street. Surely you have a different definition that doesnt really pertain to anything these guys do on the field right?
