Nintendo invents a new type of video game controller for next consoles

It looks wierd, but if you check out the bottom link, which is a video of concepts the Nintendo programmers are thinking of, it looks like it could be hours of fun. If you remember the ol' light gun on the first Nintendo system, it's the same thing, only it senses your motion now, so you could flick the controller like a fishing rod, baseball bat, sword, anything really. First-person shooters like Halo are going to be a heck of a lot faster with this thing.

I like the Big N but I think they lost their minds with this controller. When I want to work out I go to the gym. When I play video games I don't want my pulse to rise over resting.

I'm pretty much of the same opinion although lately I've thought about buying that DDR dancepad to try and lose some calories.
