Are there at least some Phillie fans here that wanna talk about the series?

I'm going with the Phillies in 6, that pitching core is just way to deep for the Giants to handle. I hate both these teams though, but I hate the Giants way more, for obvious reasons in my sig

The AL is the "other league". That said, I like the Giants, but I don't think they can beat that team from that ****ty city. I hope they do though and I hope Roy gets lit up like a Christmas tree.

I actually think the Giants have the pitching to match up with the Phillies; if it holds up, they have a great chance of beating them. I would love to see a Giants-Rangers World Series.

Nice, I have some allies in here.

Here's my brief reasoning for why we have a chance.

1. Our pitching is just as good at the top, and maybe deeper than theirs.
Madison Bumgarner>>Joe Blanton.

2. Our 2 best pitchers are righties, but we're throwing 2 lefties too, and the Phillies can't hit LHP.

3. Our offense is so boom or bust with the home runs we hit (that's the only way we really score) that playing in PHI should help us. Lots easier to pop one out there than at ATT.

4. And finally, we're due gosh darnit. 56 years and counting. I'm ready.

Are you in SF? My wife and I absolutely love AT&T Park. We went and saw a Giants vs Dodger game there in 2007. We had a great time sitting in front of McCovey Cove.

Sure will. We may look back on that game in 10 or 15 years and regard it as one of the best postseason matchups of all time. The last 3 years worth of Cy Youngs will be on display on Saturday night. Insane.

No. I live about 4 hours south of SF. I love it too, I've been to 9 or 10 other parks, and AT&T is the best by far. The setting, the weather, the crowd, it's just an awesome place to watch a baseball game. The other good part is, unlike Chavez Latrine in LA, opposing fans are heckled and ribbed, but no one gets killed. Doyer stadium is like a prison during yard time.

I hate every single team that comes out Philly. I don't want to see any of those *******s win another ****ing championship EVER. Especially the most classless organization in ALL of sports: The Philadelphia Eagles.
