Even though things seem to be moving along at a snail space at this time of the offseason around the league, that doesn't mean work isn't being done in preparation for the upcoming 2025 NFL season. The Dallas Cowboys are in full prep mode under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer and have quite a bit of work to do between now and the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Schottenheimer and his coaching staff has their work cut out for them. The Cowboys can stand to improve in just about every single area, but there are some things they should probably prioritize over others. Here is the No. 1 priority on both offense and defense for the Cowboys right now.

I'm gonna take a wild guess here but the #1 priority for the offense is to score more points than our defense gives up.....and if they do it in the same game, it would be marvelous.

No reason to overthink these things....

I know you are joking but in all seriousness, the Offense needs to score first. Captain 4 waits to feast on the prevent in the 4th before making a run at the win. This teams plays very different with a lead.

The priority for both squads is the same. Be disciplined and physical.

Cut out the dumb mistakes, stick to assignments, do our jobs, and be tough.

The rest will work itself out.

Game changers and flow of games is actually a point for focus for this team to return to game dominance.

#1 priority for offense. run the ball effectively
#1 priority for defense. stop the run.
