No Aaron, but Jets are still a test

I heard that Rogers is out for the year with a torn Achilles and that's a shame. I feel bad for him and the Jets. Mainly because I was looking forward to seeing our defense have a true test by going up against a very good offense and a player we've historically struggled to beat. I started to think well we will beat them easily without A Aron.

But after watching that Jets defense attack, harass, sack and get turnovers from the Bills offense last night, I am eager to see how our offense performs. It's not everyday you get to go up against a top flight defense. I still think we win because I'm not scared of their offense against our defense but this will be a huge test for Dak and co.

Thoughts?

Take care of the football! It has been the emphasis the entire offseason. We did a great job of that in week 1and if that carries over into week 2, the game won’t be close.

Our offense goes against a top flight defense everyday. That unit is going to fluster Wilson, create a few turnovers, and we will crush another NY team.

Bills lost because of multiple picks and fumbles.

Dont turn it over, stop the run, play great defense and we are 2-0 heading to Arizona.

Whoever wins the turnover battle will win this game it is that simple. The Jets defense and the Cowboys defense are elite. Both want to prove they are the best. Let’s see what coach and quarterback play the game smart. Special teams will be important as well. Going to be an old school game like the 85 Bears vs the 87 Giants. Mean and nasty. My kind of football.

I can see the offense struggling at times on Sunday. A punt is not a bad play when we have a defense like the one we do.

Play smart, complimentary football and take our shots when we have them, and we should walk away with a W.

The Jets have a nice defensive roster that could present problems for the Cowboy offense. The challenge for this team will be to maintain that historical week one defensive level of performance or maintain a consistent level of play that is somewhat similar.
The coach should recognize this is a defensive led team now and should adjust his offense accordingly.
If it means TOP, run game and conservative field position type play calls in order to get a win, then so be it.
I like winning ugly way better than stats filled losses.

But that's just me.

Funny thing, Lazard, Cobb, and Hackett all came aboard because Aaron wanted them and now he’s gone.

Let’s get real here, if Josh Allen wasn’t a turnover machine last night they would have won that game going away. Our defense is better than the Bills and we should win by 2 scores, as long as Dak doesn’t become Josh Allen.
