I thought he showed some things last night and significantly improved his chances to make the team. Granted, the injuries to WRs are definitely helping him along. However, on the field last night, he showed some promise both as a WR and as a returner.

The final preseason game will make him or break him IMO. While he played well last night, the obvious weakness in our kickoff coverage units might deem it necessary to keep the last few roster spots open for players that can help us there, rather than at WR.

I'll admit I am not a big fan of the search function. If it's not in the title I don't see it.

He had 2 big plays last night and with the injuries to the WRs ahead of him..he's made the final 53.

And I think he remains on the 53.

Even when the others return. Given it's going to take a few games for the injured to get back to playing shape and assuming not setbacks in their injuries..

Amendola now gets a lot more opportunities to play real snaps in games in situations.

Also, no way Amendola gets thru waivers later if they try to sneak him onto the PS later.

He'll be grabbed by some team..especially if they play him in the #1 offense and he makes plays.

Nope, I think we keep him, play him and that he becomes an important speed factor in 3 WR sets at the slot.
