Just wondering why no one was talking about the Eagles landing Takeo Spikes, the Giants trying for Wilson but getting Kawika Mitchell and the possible trade being set up for Lance Briggs with Washington and Chicago exchanging firsts and getting Briggs?

There were threads...

but anyway... Wilson and Spikes have both had serious injuries (neck and achilles), so unless they make miracle comebacks there is/was no reason to be concerned.

Kawika Mitchell???

Never heard of the guy, really scared the G-men picked up this no-name.

Spikes has already played his best ball, not really concerned about him going to Philly. Besides, McNabb is either going to get hurt again or choke on his Campbell soup. No Garcia to save their season this year.

If the rumor is Briggs and the 31st pick for the 6th pick, I hope the Deadskins pull the trigger. Noway is Briggs worth swapping #6 for #31, that is like 2 first rounders in point value.

That would be freaking dumb to do that trade if you were Washington. I am talking serious retardation here folks. That would be one of the worst rape jobs of all time.

I hope the Deadskins do it!!!

Honestly... none of these moves or possible moves have concerned me in the least.

The Giants... I think this year, they take a step back. Tiki's gone, and until they find a replacement for him, or Eli proves he can take the team on his back, I'm not worried.

Washington... initially the Briggs move looks like it should concern us, but I'll reserve my angst until I see who they pick at #31 if they indeed make the trade

Philly... Spikes ha to prove he can stay healthy, and they're gonna miss Walker. I gave the advantage on that trade to Buffalo.

yeah i dont really see the trades impacting us really . Unless briggs goes to the skins. But i dont see that having much of an effect either. Boring topic i guess? lol
