Noway in hell should we lose to a Buc team with a rookie head coach and Byron freaking Leftwich at QB. With our brutal December schedule, we cant piss away games like this.

And if we do, I dont want to hear any excuses at all from Wade and Garrett..............NONE!!!

Didn't the bucs add Kellen Winslow? They have an above average running game and a good defense. No reason to over look a team because of a QB that has had a couple of down years he still solid and can still get the job done.

I think we'll win this game. We should win this game. They don't scare me. Their defense that was so good wasn't all that great last year and they cut a few players from it, like Derrick, and that doesn't strike fear in me either.

This team wasn't nearly as good without Garcia the last few years, they're almost entirely rebuilding, so I don't see how they'll be a better team than the one who couldn't beat a Brad Johnson lead Cowboys last year.

Don't get me wrong Wade leaves a lot to be desired and I still believe in Jason unlike many others.

However, I don't care who is coaching sometimes the TEAM needs to step up.

So I would say, I don't want to hear any excuses from the players or the coaches. Wade and Jason should be able to go to Cancun for the week and the team should still pull out the victory IMO.

If we lose to the sorry-arse Bucs and then have back-to-back games against the G-men and Carolina.......we could be looking at 0-3.

I wouldn't put it past Wade and Co. to lose to a rookie head coach and a sub-par quarterback. Anything is possible with this gang.

But with that said, without a doubt, the season should and must start with a bang against Tampa.

I agree with you point regarding them losing to BJ. However, BJ's supporting cast is much more dynamic than the supporting cast Byron Leftwich has in Tampa Bay. The OP is right, that should be a game, if we're in the hunt, that we make sure business is taken care of.

I think TB has one huge advantage because no one will have tape on them...

are they gonna run a WCO? Tampa 2? (remember no kipen) no one shows much in preseason so the tape from them will be worthless...

How do you prepare for everything?

I expect it will probably be a very difficult game.
