We did this with injuries...... We did this with passion.... We did this with our backs against the wall..... To blow out a rival like the Eagles that brought their A game like they always try to do, there are no excuses..... I don't want to hear about their secondary, or the loss of two greats, one each in the defensive and offensive line.... Our players played hurt and it showed.... Their run defense has always been top notch and we still killed it....

These players played with something to prove.... I think they proved it... Even with our normal drive stalling penalties, the team succeeded .... Even playing hurt they proved it.... We should all stand back and give applause to what the Cowboys did tonight as a team.... I will eat crow and applaud them myself.... Awesome victory on a tough opponent...

With that being said, and seeing what this team can do, there are no more excuses..... Sorry but the Cowboys showed their mental. They showed their toughness and even showed how even when the discipline was a bit off, they could not only rise above, but rout a decent team in the process.... This was a team win... No doubt... Offense and Defense did their job and while a little sloppy at times, did not waiver... This was the kind of win we all expected from the team before the year began. Now they proved us right.....

Enough of the recently rich not showing up for the games... Enough of the injuries being an excuse.... Enough of us playing down to the competition.... Enough of the inconsistencies...

We witnessed what can be, and shall be..... No More Excuses.........

Go Cowboys!!!!!

Giggles is not very good.
I’m still worried about our run D.
Stop playing Lee at strong side and just sub him in to give LEV or Smith a breather. Play his natural position.

We still have work to do on both sides of the ball.... The penalties are killers but we showed we can be dominate regardless.... As far as the LB's are concerned, I've seen subpar play for a few weeks now. While I hope it is an injury and easily fixed with rest, we managed to lead early and take out their run game to be a non factor. As we should.... Their first mistake was going for the early kill shot and get chopped down.... We managed to do the exact opposite and make them one dimensional.... The fact we did such, says we understand such game plan and can adapt to preventing it.... Again I feel we showed a complete dominance of what the Defense can do with a lead. We saw what an Offense can do with that same lead. Now it is about showing such each and every game without having to come from behind like past weeks.... Either way they started first and the Defense stepped up to give us the lead early..... It becomes hard to say we can't do such every game as fast as we got to the ball..... It is a matter of motivation and we had it tonight....

Nice post, but...

if and when our Cowboys crap the bed again, I don't want to hear you complain.

No excuses... ;):D:cool::p

I think many will tell you I am not the all things are rosy person of the group.... I actually bet against us tonight.... Boy was I wrong.... LOL

Regardless of my faith or non faith that we can continue such, I just wanted to state we have the means, we have the tools, and with our will, beyond poor coaching, we can succeed. To be honest, I think we did win despite our coaches with pure heart... The same heart I have not seen all year.... The same heart we saw after being 3-5 last year. But if I am right and heart makes that much difference..... No more excuses.... That's my view and I will stick to it until coaching proves me wrong.....

Edit: Really Mods? I saw the change... That is far from happy.... lol

His name is Tyron not Tyrone, and he's hurt ** & definitely didn't get abused. Fleming would've cost us this game just like the last 2.

It's hard to say abused after witnessing the Falcons DE that sacked Dak 6 times in the absence of Tyron....LOL . But you are right, he played hurt and we saw it in his holding calls tonight.... Now could our backup have been better? Probably not... Most likely why he played hurt instead of resting 2 weeks.... Regardless of his penalties, we overcame them and a few others the offense made.... No where am I saying he was an issue, just stating we played at half strength and still imposed our will.... Nothing I have seen so far gives us any excuses moving forward.....
