before the first Preseason game this weekend?...Can some of you fresh my memory?...Is this routine or did I miss the full contact practices?

Or is this the better way to go into the first preseason game?

If there hasn't been any full contact, doesn't that leave the players open to getting rung up (i.e. injured) on their first exposure to full contact in a preseason game?

If you are talking about tackling, almost no teams do that. They had one of the Eagles players on ESPN(Westbrook i think) and he said the Eagles were like the only team in the NFL that tackles to the ground and he didn't think it was a good idea but that's how Reed wants it.

Thanks for the clarification

At the Saturdays practice from Eagles Training Camp I attended - there was always hitting between the lines.
And tackiling of one type - drills close in - or another with the RB's.
Except with the WR's and QB's who I did not see in full contact.

Interesting at Eagles Camp the QB's wear red jerseys.
To make sure no one hits them.

On Hard Knocks Romo and Johnson were not in a different jersey.

Normally QB wear red red jerseys so they don't get hit. If they weren't in different jersey it might have just been shells and non contact drills. It would suck if Dware injured Romo in TC.

My favorite in practice were the orange 'condoms' the players on Defense would wear on their helmets when doing special teams drills...It'd be a mix of white & blue jerseys and seemed to reduce time wasting...It caught me off guard briefly as I tried to figure out what was going on...Funny looking though
