Hmmm ... How is this possible?
Holding call yesterday, no?

I’m sure the OP is talking ab the opposing OL holding the Cowboys DL. The holding call yesterday was against the opposing defense. They held our WR from getting down field (can’t remember who). If I remember correctly, two flags were thrown on that play, both on the defense. If this stat is true..this is absolutely ridiculous. How blatant is the bias against Dallas, really?!

I could only listen to the game, but could have swore their OL got called for holding once. I might be wrong tho...
It was a run. This tweet is about on passes, where most holds are going to be called.
The Falcons were called for holding on a run play in the second quarter against the Falcons. So I guess technically the tweet is accurate since it only references passing plays, but it's a bit of a dumb stat

Do you have numbers to back that statement? It always seemed to me that most holds are on running plays which would of course mean less passing holds called.
It's a stretch of a stat is what it is. It's combing the bottom of the barrel by drilling down deep enough to find something to get fans "outraged" about because emotion sells. Go talk to Detroit who have benefited from only 6 offensive holds of any kind all year long (Dallas has 10). Or talk to Denver who have benefited from 10 offensive holds like we have but have been called for 20 offensive holds of their own. 2:1 ratio. That sure seems "off." Denver writers have probably been tweeting this at their fan base to drum up clicks too, lol.

Ironically some here will say, "Oh yeah, that happens all the time! There is no Anti Cowboys conspiracy".

The Broncos have 3 more sacks than the Cowboys yet have received the fewest holding calls against their opponents - 5 fewer than the Cowboys.

Must be an anti-Broncos conspiracy.![]()
Excuses for Garrett? How much did Jerry pay this guy to write that?
