Our first quarter struggles are a big problem, one that played a huge role in the NE loss, I think we should go with our hurry up offense.

Spread them out.

One RB.

Romo in the shotgun.

Work on a direct snap draw run play, have a pitch/sweep.

Mix in designed roll-outs for Tony.

This should increase the pace, give urgency, force the fat guys up front to get their arse in gear early.

The only risk is if it doesn't work, we put the defense back on the field even quicker.

Some good ideas, .. we have to do something different to just shake things up.

I am really really curious to see how the Cowboys play this week, after losing last week.

I would love to see them respond and come out with an attitude.

I would like to see this as well. Do Something that we haven't shown yet this year. Maybe a gadget play of some kind like a flea flicker or double reverse. Even if it doesn't work, it gives future opponents something to game plan for.

I find myself wondering why we didn't do to NE what they did to us. Like Ditka said, when you spread teams out like that you pretty much force the safeties to cover. Anyone think the Pats want Rodney Harrison in coverage?

I guess to answer my own question, our 3rd WR isn't as good as theirs. But if we had Terry back, I'd think about it. You'd have to trust Romo to make a lot of calls at the line, but I think he's to the point that he could do that.

Nice--somebody else to join my bandwagon.

I've been saying this repeatedly and getting blown off--

WE GOTTA UP THE PACE! I like the idea of no huddle, but even if not, move Romo around, make him do more pre-game sprints, throw a bomb, throw some WR screens...get the juices flowing!
