Interesting. How does that compare to the other top WR’s? Can’t seem to find that stat anywhere.
And not to try and make excuses, but I would imagine volume has to play into that. If 12% is for last year that’s 5 drops I think? Obviously not a good thing, but I’d be curious to see those 5 drops as NDSt tape isnt easy to find
CW played for ND state. Thats why. Its a huge jump to haye a guy from that level to the NFL. I like him as well. I see him as a rd 3-4 guy.
Vastly different because he is a QB. Teams are desperate to find a QB. They typically get over drafted as a result. Thats why the bust rate is so high with a QB. its THROWING DARTS. Wr is a little easier but when its a deep wr crop, and you play for a small school, you get overlooked. I like the kid and think he will be great, especially if the right team gets him and he is used right. I think he can start immediately as a return guy and a 4th-5th wr in certain packages, and eventually become a DeSean Jackson caliber wr. Dallas should take a hard look at him in rd 3 because I think he may not last longer. Its a gamble if we wait. I like Wandale Robinson even more. He's built lower to the ground and has a compact build, and his level of competition was tremendous in the SEC. In a perfect draft, I want them both. Can never have to many guys like them, that can take a 2 yard pass or hand off/return, and go the distance in a blink.Way I see it, we lack playmakers. I see maybe 1 on the team, and thats Pollard. No one else scares ya.Didn’t seem to me a problem for Trey Lance that he played at the same school as CW. He was the 3rd pick in the first round last year.
I like Watson a lot!
That said, Cowboys need a starter at SLOT more than they need back up X or Y.
Like that kid from Boise State.

He won't be taking on 40 year old dudes with two kids in jeans in the NFL.
CeeDee thrived in the slot as a rookie.
