Thanks for the roster update, Fanatic...
yeah buddy dc, thanks for keeping us posted, i went to sleep early last night
Note, now this is kind of undrafted free agent you want to get, and remember he came from Saints, so he has some of their formations stuff, so maybe help us later if with team, even if just on practice squad, this is kind of player just like shannon sharpe was that went undrafted, but makes plays on field, you have to find spot for him, this is where a great Defensive coordinator/head coach like wade comes in, he trains him, and gets him ready; also big praise here goes to our scouting department and asst coaches that were aware and picked him off of waiver wire, Yes! Yes! Now, its all up to wade!

Brandon Sharpe - DE - Texas Tech
By Joe Everett on Friday, 2nd April 2010
This kid can flat out bring it off the edge. Put him in the lineup and he will walk his opponent directly into the quarterback.
Sharpe has NFL blood-lines, as he is the nephew of all-pro tight end Shannon Sharpe. Was a JUCO runningback that switched up to defensive end after arriving at Texas Tech and went on to set the school’s single season sack record in 2009.
Flashes unique strength/speed combination and is a very physical player who can bring the wood when he gets to the ball-carrier.
He does not have an ideal frame and has only been a one-year producer.
Sharpe is still very raw as a player and doesn’t use his hands and long arms to his advantage. While he’s got a lot of hype going for him, he showed up out of shape and looked sluggish at the Texas vs Nation game.
He racked up 13 sacks in his last 8 games and is still learning the position. There’s a ton of upside as far as a football player but his lack of size might leave him off of some team’s draft boards.

Brandon Sharpe was signed as a free agent by the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints and his first action as a Saint was participating in the teams rookie camp. Brandon wasn't selected in the NFL draft, so now he is having to prove he can play all over again. Of course Sharpe proved he could excell on the college level. He played at two junior colleges before signing with Texas Tech and in his senior season he was the most successful pass rushing defensive end in Division 1 with 15 sacks.
