Of course all of that is trueIt took Tony Romo getting hurt and Dak Prescott having a phenomenal rookie season for Jerry Jones to remove his 100% support for Romo and hand it willingly to Prescott before he adopted a new franchise quarterback.
That is Jerry Jones' mindset.
Jerry Jones drafted Quincy Carter as Troy Aikman's successor. He first acquired Tony Banks to ease Carter into the starting role over time then skeet shot Banks like a clay pigeon before the first game of the season (similar thing happened 15 years later).
That is Jerry Jones' mindset.
I wished someone could finally tell me something after all these years:
Why should anyone buy into their personal general manager philosophy when it obviously contradicts Jerry Jones' longstanding GM philosophy? Which philosophy should anyone expect Jones to follow? Yours? Or the philosophy flying around banging inside his skull like a blind bat?
But Dak is done and the fans were throwing Rubbish at Him like it was the 1100s
All that can happen in this Soap Opera is Dak sees this team having success and tries to come back Early . . . And embarrasses himself even further
Therefore cementing Jerry's only decision . . which will be to release Him . . . Its only 13 million more to dump Him
He can't be the back up to Cooper but He can't be the starter either
Our only hope is Grier at this point. . . Do I have ull faith he will be capable? . . No . . . But its something to Hope for . If we become a defensive team that runs the ball. . . I believe either QB could have success
I Don t know where Peters is gonna play on the Left side . . . But when He is in the lineup this team should be able to run all over people . . . Smith is a beast
