We were obottom half of the league in scoring over this stretch, averaging around 20 points per game. If we didn't have a defense, we'd most certainly not have been 4-1 over Rush's stretch.

While I admit it was a nice run…..it’s just getting started. If anything Cooper Rush taught us that we are a pretty good football team. Rush has been horrible for years in PS football for crying out loud. He played well though.

Having said that Dak is better. I just hope they stick to the running game. If they go pass happy it could get ugly.

And having the offense play in the first two and a half quarters instead of waiting until the game was out of reach was nice.

IN reality the offense was near the bottom of the league with Cooper Rush and Rush's 3 INTs against the Eagles are what helped put the Cowboys in a 20 point hole and what help ended any comeback the Cowboys attempted to make.

Who was it on here that said Dak is a one read Qb and yet rush was the one who got called out by Phillys secondary saying they watched the tape and saw he only goes through his 1st read

at the second examination he was sitting much closer to the screen, like a few inches (and talking to it), so distances looked much bigger up that close.

Is this supposed to somehow justify Dak's similar tendencies? All it tells me is that Dallas has a "starter" who is only slightly better than the backup. And so far this season, the backup has performed much better than the starter. Not by a lot, but still better. He's 4-1, and that can't be taken away from him.

I agree but it seems like some were are making these "Dak will fail" threads, rather have the team fail with Dak as the QB so they can say "I told you so." Rather than have this team with Dak prove them wrong by making a deep playoff run or a Super Bowl win and/or appearance. Some seem too eager to see their "This team will fail in the playoffs with Dak." predictions come true.

You'll completely ignore Dak’s choking and wearing the Cowboys defense out by forcing them to play by themselves for 2 1/2 quarters while Dak waits for the opponent to get far enough ahead to loosen their defense.
You'll blame McCarthy and Moore, you'll blame Maher for missing a 60 yd kick at the end that would have tied the game. You'll be saying Zeke is past his prime.

I like Rush but I don't think any sane person would try to claim that Rush and Dak are equal, they are not, not even close. Not a knock on Rush he is a backup, hell people here whined about not having a back up and wanted him gone now they are on the band wagon? lol I like Rush and should he be forced into action I would fully support him and have confidence that we have a chance. As for Dak he is the starting QB and this offense has been productive with him at QB for the most part. Is he elite? No not in my view but I do think he is a very good QB who can do much more than Rush. Personally I hate these threads pitting player vs player, they are on the same team, the enemy is the team wearing the other uniform. So many seem to have a hard time understanding that

When Dak plays bad I say so and when he plays great I say so. Try it every once in a while, to hear you Dak has never played a decent game in his life, tells me you either don't watch the games or have an agenda. After a loss yes coaches take heat, other players take heat and so does Dak.

Says the fan who made a whole thread about how Cooper Rush didn't have a bad game against the Eagles, after he had a 1.0 QB rating and 3 INTs, which was the reason for why the Eagles were able to jump out to a double digit lead on the Cowboys and then seal the game after Rush threw the 3rd INT. You were the one who tried to blame the WRs and other parts of the team for the Cowboys loss on last Sunday night.

And the reality still is that the defense was pressured to have to hold teams to under 20 points, because Cooper Rush was not capable of winning any games in which the opposing offense scored 26+.
