No matter who is drafted, there will be several of these threads tonight

It happens just about every year.

No matter who is drafted, some fan - or fans - will complain:

"What were they thinking!?? They should have drafted [this player] instead of [that player]! This proves they don't have a clue how to run a football team!"

"If they knew their job, they'd have drafted [this player]. Instead, they let [that player] slip away. Failures."

Last year, the Cowboys selected Morris Claiborne, and there were people complaining that the Cowboys hadn't taken someone else with the 1st-round pick - but if the Cowboys had, then most likely some fans would have complained about the Cowboys not drafting a cornerback......

Unfortunately, these nonsense threads will be rampant for the next few weeks. It should all be compiled into one big "I'm pissed" thread. Lol

It is gonna be about Reid and I will man the train as it leaves the station on that one.

I don't know, I think pretty much everyone would agree with a Womack, Cooper or Sheldon Richardson pick but other then those 3 I think your right.

excuse me sir are you trying to tell me that a vast and diverse grouping of people on the internet aren't going to agree on every topic and may even have completely different viewpoints which they sometimes over-agressively share in a moment of "passion"?

I'm going to need you to cite some sources on this one.

I agree with you. Won't be any such posts by me though. For 2 reasons:

1) Depending on the position he plays, we won't know if it was a good pick or not at least til the end of the 2013 season, some positions longer.

2) I don't follow college football as close as the rest of you guys, so I don't get involved in the critique.

But yes, I get what you're sayin!

The complaints about ignoring the OL this time last year didn't turn out to be nonsense

If we ignore it again a lot more people will be upset

Pretty sure they will be discussed and debated to the nth degree. But I am sure it will be done without insults ,personal jabs or without breaking any of the rules.....

i'll just be glad when i don't have to hear people call the Alabama guard WOMACK anymore.

Oh, I''m sure a lot of people will be upset if the Cowboys don't draft an offensive lineman in the 1st or 2nd round.

But if they do I'm sure some will be upset about the Cowboys not having drafted a defensive tackle, safety, or defensive end in the 1st or 2nd round either.

If you don't like the pick, you have a right to complain. As long as you agree with what they do,why would you care what anybody else thinks?

The first 3 rounds pretty much needs to be OG, DT and S, if we get cute and start picking TE's this place will be fun

The complaints are understandable and justified. I share the same opinion.

It's the onslaught of new threads whining about the draft choices that are nonsense.

Try all year long.....

And yet anytime the draft comes, or training camp and the cuts occur, or Romo has a bad game, this type of thread rears its head.

So the psychology behind this thread is what exactly?

1. I'm tired of people pointing out possible flaws with the drafting this team has shown, or that Romo doesn't really wear Superman Underoos.

2. I just wanted to show I am smarter than the average fan.

3. I didn't meet my quota of putting people down for their opinions today.

I guess it could be all three.
