I have been watching show after show after show...and I cannot find one show discussing the "catch" Cobb made near the end of the first half. The 'catch' that was REVIEWED and was 'determined' to have been a catch. First of all...he NEVER caught it. It was clear it bounced TWICE....so you look at it...and determine that a ball that he NEVER caught was a catch?!?!?!?!?!

But you review Dez catch the ball....take 3 steps...elbow hit the ground FIRST...him lunge for the endzone...then determine that there was CONCLUSIVE evidence to overturn the catch! This is very hard to accept! How can they say there was enough evidence to CONCLUSIVELY overturn the catch? I mean...he SWITCHED hands with the ball. Did you see him bobble the ball while he was switching hands?

And you will never see it. I thought that was the obligatory makeup call. Was I ever wrong.

My thoughts exactly...there was the make-up call for last week. And that could be WHY they are not showing it...because they had a much bigger makeup call they would make later. But I agree...I turned to my buddy and said "that was for last week". Because he NEVER caught that ball! And how you look at it and decide..that he DID catch it....WOW! Just WOW!!!

Football happens and bad plays happen; it's time to move forward and plan on how we build up our defense and decide how we address RB in FA.

We still have the ability to place a great team on the field next year.

It'll never be discussed, just like the 7 out of 10 plays the Cowboys sent in last week, that were ruled in the Cowboys favor.

I don't hear anyone nationally addressing when a player becomes a ball carrier. If he's a ball carrier, that ball can move all over the place, as long as he doesn't lose it. What is his status once he lands, has control of the ball, and Shields trips him?

I have no problem with the "we need to move on". But in a game where did he/did he not catch is significant....I think discussing how the Cobb catch is reviewed and deemed a catch...and the Dez catch was reviewed AND overturned...the same crew in the same game looked at both catches. And I would like to know how the same crew can view the Cobb catch as a catch. There has been far too little discussion of why they called it a catch!

It's pretty obvious why the Dez catch is being talked about and the Cobb one is not. It's not because the media hatred the Cowboys but maybe someone else can figure it out.
