No More Grousing...The Iggles beat the JV by 2 points

Watching the Cowboys defense the last few weeks was an exercise in trying to figure out who these guys were. Names I had never heard of appeared on the D-Line. All the LB starters were out and we were riding with Jeff Heath and still had a chance to beat them with the ball at the end of the game. Talking to my Eagle fan friends, they were all convinced we were marching down the field and would get a field goal to win the game from the league's best clutch kicker. A really bad pass by Orton ended the game. Orton played well but not well enough. He had Witten open for the two point conversion and threw the ball low to Dez. Hard to blame someone who had not played all year. He did as good as we could have expected and maybe better.

Now, Cowboys fans it is time to stop Grousing and look forward to the future.....We have many more 8-8 years ahead of us as long as Jerry runs the program. Unless and until he is hurt in his pocket book these types of years where we are tricked into believing that we are getting better and that we are only one or two players away or a change of scheme away from the SB. SB? Playoffs? Not for this organization. For Jones it is all about the money and the stadium. And he is doing just fine in those departments!!!

Hit him where it hurts. Stop going to the games, stop buying the merchandise, stop letting him separate you from your money while he rips out your heart.

This. If every cowboy fan stopped going, the opposing team and corporate personnel will still fill the stadium, but thats only a small percentage of his income. the other interests and revenue sharing deals guarantees hehas will never not show a profit. We as fans can not hurt Jones and he's delusional enough not to care we hate the product on the field. We have to accept that this is our fate till either an epiphany or tragedy turns on a light we can gather round. we live in dark ages as Cowboy fans, the future unknown and nothing guaranteed, not even 8-8, we can only hope we dont sink lower than that as a long term trend. Getting mad is the first step to effecting change, but we have a mile high road straight up to climb to get Jones attention and realization we as fans are seriously upset with the ownership and GM. Saying it wont be easy would be an understatement as we are looking at "wont be easy" in the rear view mirror.

The bartenders and concessions are actually contracted out. That does not hurt JJ money wise. If that company pulls out, there would be another one to take it's place.
