No More Players from LSU!

For some reason we fell in love with LSU a few years ago and have drafted from them heavily. They are a national power so it makes little sense, but they have not treated us well.... consider....

Lafleur was never going to live up to his draft status. He was not that good before his injuries. I think his blocking was just average, but I have seen some over rate that part of his game. He was never that great of a receiving tight end. He would have been a decent addition to the team, but not as a first rounder. Same with Fasano this season. Decent player, but not worthy of a second round pick.

Devery Henderson seems to be doing okay in New Orleans. Maybe if Dallas got him and the Saints got Skyler Green things would be different. I will leave it up to everyone else to deterime what those differences will be.

Bradie isnt a bust but he isnt a play makers either hes pretty much what the original poster said "average". Spears on the other hand is a mid first round pick and he hasnt shown much. If he doesnt make huge strides going into next year and start making plays the bust label needs to be applied in my opinion.

Bradie's having a down year (although last year the deep middle was open because of the void between our weak apss coverage ILB's just as much as this year - the only difference is Bradie blows in nearly all facets currently) but he's shown he can play, he just needs to get back to that.

Spears isn't busty yet, but he's as close as we have on the team. The 20th pick in the draft makes zero impact on the game. He hasn't even had any flashes, that make me think "This guy could be good if he could play like THAT continually." He's just been bad, always. Here's to hope!
