I think horrid safety play and Diggs were the two main culprits in the passing game today.

Diggs likely won’t put up a stinker like that again, he’s been awesome for the most part the last 2 seasons, but the safeties concern me.

He didn't play that well. Showed the drop-off we have at corner as he was the victim on several catches by Smith. On the bright side, I don't remember Alexander being beaten much.

Yeah I'd give him a D at best.

Terrible thread. Reeks of Quinton Bohanna is a good NT.

Wright was bad in the preseason. Always near the receiver but giving up the catch. I saw more of that tonight. Definitely not saying that Joseph should have been playing, but one of the reasons for Minshew's success was attacking Wright. I guess fans think he played well because he was beaten so badly at times that he wasn't really in the picture to contend catches by Smith. The only cornerback who really played well was Bland.
I'm not going to go back and forth. I knew he was better than Joseph from preseason. Its been proven and I will hope he continues to improve. Smart player too

He was definitely better than Kelvin Joseph but that's not saying much. He let a much shorter receiver climb the ladder on him for a long third down conversion. Not sure how a 6-4 CB let's a 5-11 WR highpoint the ball on him that easily.
