I just checked the schedule, our game won't be on NFL network on Saturday night

Instead they have the Jets-Skins game on....And that is being played locally here on NY TV anyhow !!!

Yeah, I saw the 1st 10 minutes last Saturnight on that until the feed cutover...it works but it not high def 55 inch

But I'm in SoCal and the Cowboys-Chargers game was local for me. It was also scheduled to air on NFL Network. About 5 minutes into the game, the NFL Network was abrubptly switched to the replay of another game. I guess they blacked out the NFL Network coverage for SoCal since it was on locally.

So since you're in the local market for the Jets, MAYBE they'll black out the Jets game on NFL Network for you and show the Cowboys instead. But I wouldn't count on it. Might want to check with your cable provider.

I know how you feel. I didnt get to see the boys game last week until the 2nd quarter. I live in Maryland (Commander Country). NFL Network was blacked out and they were showing the game on our local CBS station. When Dallas came on at 10:00 they too were blacked out until 10:45. (When local broadcast of Skins Game and Post Game was over!) Now this week we get screwed by Favre the *******. I know I can watch it on Sunday but it still P.O.'s me. O.K now I'm finished crying!

They blacked it out here in Beaumont (TX) too.

The game was shown on cable channel 10, which I assume is associated w/ KFDM (CBS) or that KFDM leased it for the evening so they would not have to give-up network programming to show the football game.

There is also some rule (FCC I think) that if the same show is on two different cable channels, the non-local channel may not show it, if the local broadcast is available.

Does anyone know, if you have NFL Sunday Ticket, do you get the preseason as well as the regular season? Do you get the POs??...

you have to go to one that has the big dish, and then they have to search for the game...some know exactly where to look...some wont even both...just depends

This is why I couldn't continue streaming last week with Sopcast. Too many seeders bailed on my feed to consider other sources, and as soon as they did, NFL Network switched to a replay of the Jets game.

Now they are doing it again, and of course it's the Jets again. Not to mention they opted out of 1975 Classic "Hailmary" game on two occasion for the same reason, thats right....... The Farve phenomenon.

I hate Bret Farve and now I hate the stinking Jets!!!!!!

i had the game locally here in San Antonio....but it also started on the NFL Network...then halfway through the first quarter, NFLN cut to the NYJ/Cleveland replay.....I was pissed. Not so much that they cut off Dallas, but cause they put Brett Favre on instead.....

At least I got to listen to Moose. I hope he does the game on Saturday.

I don't think a sportsbar will have it. I have the Sunday Ticket and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the preseason game...sucks, especially for the price.

Sports bars will have it but like an eariier post said, you have to find the right place that will search for the local feed. I can't remember when I've missed a pre-season game and I live in Orlando. Remember...it's all about the beer sales.
