I was all for it if he was healthy and could ramp up for the playoffs. However. In no way, shape, or form is it a good idea to pay a guy and sign him to a multi year deal if said guy cant even work out for you. I cant believe OBJ even took meetings. No team would do that.

absolutely. And it was set up with all the hype for them to do just that. I’m actually impressed that they haven’t done something irrational and just signed him to sign him. We know Jerry wanted it badly- he said as much. I know some will but I can’t knock them for this.
