I don't see the Cowboys "hate" some of you see with Olsen. I just don't like his commentating, and the fact that he will drone on and on about something....in the meantime, a football game is going on while he's droning on......LOL
If the announcer does anything short of "yeeeeeeehaaaawwwww, let's go Cowboys!!!!" it's supposedly Cowboys hate to our dumb fanbase.

Don't listen to the homer lynch squad that parades these forums trying to bully everyone to agree with their viewpoints.
By far Buck-Aikman is the best out there.
Don't listen to the hater squad that only show up when dak plays bad....

No broadcast team member bothers me at all. I wouldn't care if Beavis and butthead were the announcers. I watch the game for what's going on the field. Not what's going on in the booth. I can see and determine what's going on without them.

My main problem with Greg Olson is simply that he constantly keeps jabbering vocally without any letup for air.

At some point, the viewer needs to observe the happenings for himself. I often wonder if anyone else can stand him.
I've noticed that there are, actually, a significant number here who aren't annoyed with his approach. Go figure!

Average
not awful, not great
he has improved some
This is my view as well. Sometimes a good, easygoing broadcast partner like Burkhardt can help an analyst (former player) get better over time. e.g. Moose has a very good partner, Joe Davis.

or if they compliment anyone else .... in the slightest
Bingo! Imagine a play where our defense gets quick pressure which the opposing QB evades and ends up completing a pass for a first down.

Announcer:
"Cowboys got pressure early there, but it was a Good play by (insert QB name) buying time with his feet to give (insert receiver name) time to get open on that route"

Our fans:
"So tired of listening to this anti Cowboys/ pro opponent bias. They're not even trying to hide it anymore. These announcers suck. Everyone's out to get us ". :muttley:

Well for me it's not about hate for some reason this crew talks about everything but what really is going on on the field they're not keeping up with down and distance they're not talking about like you know when there's a close first down they're not talking about it they're not focusing on the game itself and the plays and also seems like every time there's a penalty that's iffy against the Cowboys they go right to the next play and don't discuss it but if there's the one on the other team they seem to break it down like it's game tape and they go over and over it and then later on they come back to it they won't let it go all game it literally becomes annoying because they seem to be biased against the Cowboys and their lack of focus during the game it doesn't help fans who are watching the game follow the small things like I said they're not talking about down and distance and scenarios and whether a player may or may not have got the first down they just completely seem to get off track it's like they have ADHD while calling the game and I hate that I don't like crews who do that...

It's OK for one of them to discuss the color part of the game whatever is going on that's not part of the actual game but the other one supposed to be keeping up with the down and distance and all the inner scenarios and strategies happening in the game in real time and they get away from that all the time...
I do not need to be entertained by the commentators I literally am already being entertained by the game and they're supposed to be focused on calling the game and the things going on inside the game..

Olsen is an average broadcasting talent who got the top analyst job at FOX because of his looks and connections. Easy to dislike the guy.

I don’t have a strong opinion of Olsen one way or another. I think it’s cool he said CD has been the best WR this season. Ironically on the same day AJ Brown checks out of Philly.

My overall favorites are Buck, Aikman, Romo and Jim and Moose. I can handle Collingsworth as long as he’s not gushing over Allen.

Actually the only time I dislike any announcers is when we’re losing and they talk about it but I feel that’s me just not happy with the game and nothing against the announcers. It’s kind of background noise for me.

I did laugh pretty hard when one of the Commanders was reporting as eligible and Olsen made a comment that he should do it clearly. That made me laugh.
You lost me at Buck. LOL, the absolute worst.

I don’t mind him at all. I just don’t see the anti-Cowboys bias that everyone is always whining about.

He's just not very interesting.

I'd rather watch it muted and listen to music or something.

Sidenote: you ever watch last year's playoff loss to the 9ers on Mute with Dark Side of the Moon playing?

IT TOTALLY MATCHES UP!!!!

CONSPIRACY!!!!!
