No playoffs for the Cowboys again?

We have had consecutive non playoff seasons 3 times this Century.
2019-2020
2010-2013
2000-2002

Many fans feel last years absence was due all to injuries, especially Prescotts. But we had a losing record with him and didn’t look like on a playoff projectory regardless.

We didn’t really address most of our weaknesses in FA. And it’s unlikely the draft will strengthen up all those holes significantly.

Meanwhile Phil and Wash look poised to finish 1-2 in the division leaving us battling for 3rd with a slew of NFC teams primarily in North and West division in a better position to battle for Wild Card slots.

I’d argue winning 8 or 9 games this year would be an improvement over last year. And that’s assuming we can stay healthier than last year. That will be enough to keep us in the playoff hunt but come up short.

Anyone predicting anything right now before the draft, OTA’s, mini-camps and training camp is just wasting their time. The 54 hasn’t even began to be established yet for crying out loud. All that doesn’t even touch on the fact of an entire new coaching staff. I know most here enjoy being always negative but my Lord.

Washington won 5 games they should had lost ! Mark this down Washington will not make the playoffs!

Playoffs are a pipe dream for this team to anyone paying attention and based in reality.
The bigger question is :
What if we do sneak in as the last wildcard and get booted the first playoff game?
Is that what its all about for you as a fan?
I want a team that has a legit shot at the SB.
We have been nowhere near being that kind of team for years.
With Jerry in charge this team has had little playoff success this century and it's
very discouraging for me, as it must be for most fans.
I am not happy just being relevant.

The Cowboys will finish 3rd or 4th in the division. I’m leaning more towards 4th because I believe we have the worst QB in the division now that the Giants improved the position.

Theres been so many seasons where you guys say that and they end up in the playoffs

I remember in 2014 when you guys said they had no chance because Romo then he made the playoffs, 12-4 record, I remember the early 90's before they turned the corner they said they were going nowhere and they won the Super Bowl
