It’s telling that you have to mention this because so many here apparently don’t understand that.Brilliant thought there - neither would any other QB in the NFL.

That’s not the argument . The title of thread was do you think the Cowboys will make the playoffs. Not whether it’s too soon to speculate. You people sure do like to make **** up. I never said that. All I said was it’s too early to predict anything at this point because the team has not even been set yet. We haven’t seen how these new coaches perform. Quit making up stuff.
And that’s my point. I don’t know if they will have the team to make the playoffs because we don’t know who’s on the team. We don’t know if they’ll have any major injuries to key players. But to play along, no I don’t think the Cowboys will make the playoffs this year. Because the team as it stands right now, doesn’t have a legitimate RB, a legitimate WR #2, a legitimate CB #2 or 3 or 4. After tonight, at least one of those will be answered. That’s not the argument . The title of thread was do you think the Cowboys will make the playoffs. Not whether it’s too soon to speculate.
Based on what you know now what would you say? Yes or no
Thank you . That wasn’t so difficult. And that’s my point. I don’t know if they will have the team to make the playoffs because we don’t know who’s on the team. Well, the answer was obvious. At least I thought so.Thank you . That wasn’t so difficult.
I thought it was obvious too. Glad you agree.Well, the answer was obvious. At least I thought so.
stop it, no, come on man. thats funny, but no, be realistic. we get it, we gotta make it fun because the season is over, but lets not make jurassic park out of salamandersThis team can be competitive IF a whole bunch of guys stay healthy. With a healthy OL, Dak, and Micah......... we could sneak in. Would I bet money on it? Nope
Well the odds of "any other" QB being equal to or better than what we have is about 20%. The two or three obvious upgrade QBs (Mahomes, Allen and Jackson) will never be available. And Prescott is better than 70% or so of the other 29 starting QBs. Bottom line is that QB isn't this team's problem. Defense being in the 30s on points allowed, no legit RB and no legit number 2 receiver is the problem. And none of that was addressed last night. SMH at the owners of this team.Well I guess we can worry about that when we have this QB named "any other" playing for the team.
They have gotten better after losing D Law, Lewis, Kendricks, Rush, and Dowdle ???? Wake up dude..I dont get how anyone at this point can say the Cowboys will not be making the playoffs this season. We saw how one draft and off seasons turned around the fortunes of one team (Detroit) in a blink of an eye. If the Cowboys can add a WR2, RB, CB, DL, and Edge in either the draft, FA or trade this team can be back to the elite in the division. What exactly has Philly done to better themselves since last season ended? All they have done is release or lose players!!! Yes Washington got better with Samuel and Tunsil, but so have the Cowboys with some solid additions in my eyes.
Gotta be those stellar failed former high picks/journeymen jags who replaced them I tell ya.They have gotten better after losing D Law, Lewis, Kendricks, Rush, and Dowdle ???? Wake up dude..
