No it shouldnt. At all. He should be gone along with this entire coaching staff and the new coach should be allowed to bring in his own coaches. It wont happen. But it should.

KM should be fired this morning to be honest. Let McCarthy call plays and design the game plans the rest of the season. KM aint it. He is in over his head and has no feel for the game at all.

He's also the best QB to ever play the game. So there's that. He is the deviation from the mean in almost every category. Nothing he has done is normal.

But remember, he was too old when he was on the market. "We like our guys".

Bill Belichick went 11-5 with Tom Brady out for the season. In the NFL, coaches are expected to elevate the team facing adversity. Here, it’s just another excuse to keep mediocrity.

They did it in Cincy with a crappy 30 year non playoff winning owner.. just took getting Mr. Joe Burow and 2nd year coach Zak Taylor……the GM position here won’t change,
