No RB will ever get paid again

Thanks to Zeke.

And by paid, I mean get a massive 2nd contract after his rookie deal.

He's proven that all that truly matters in an effective running attack is that a top offensive line is needed.

I think you need to wait a couple of years before you make that assessment. Zeke is have a bit of a down year, by his standards. But he's still top 10, and only 30 yards away from being top 5 in the NFL - in an off year. He's only 226 yards off the pace of being the top RB in the NFL, and other RB's get paid to play also. It is possible that Zeke has a spurt of performance in the final 6 games, and winds up near the top of the league again in rushing yards.

Right now, Zeke is 8th in Rushing YPG, and 7th in Total YPG among all RB's. He is still producing over 100 YPG (105.3) for the Cowboys - on pace for 1685 total yards. That is more than any other skill player on the team not named Dak.

Barkley will not only get paid but break what Zeke got.

2018 first 10 games 194 att 953 yards
2019 first 10 games 191 att 833 yards

He is a couple big games away from being where he was last year.

Not to mention he has 5 100 games tied with Cook for second and one behind Cmac who has 6.

Well, at least the Jones' hopefully learned their lesson...

We thought and hoped the same thing after all the huge contacts Jerry agreed to in the past 10 or so years. Zeke is proof he hasn't learned.
