Players like Zeke and Cooper are perpetuating mediocrity in Dallas.

Being “tired” or “winded” is not a valid excuse to sub yourself out - especially in the most important moments of the game.

I despise quitters. And Cooper especially just proved to me that’s what he is.

You should quit on quitters. Send cooper to the curb.

You think Troy would have allowed any of his star teammates to check out on the final drive of the most important game of the year? Not a chance. Yet coaches here allow it without any policing.

Zeke taking himself out is inexcusable. A professional football plays should be able to make it through a drive without taking himself to catch his breath, especially in a game with everything on the line. I have no idea what is wrong with Cooper, but his attitude sets a bad example for the team. He does not have the heart of a champion. They can let him for for all I care. I want receivers who make a play and get fired up. Not players who don;t make any play and go pout on the bench.

They have no leadership.

I’ll withhold judgment on them, until they actually have valid coaching.

these are also players that come from programs where they won championships and had strong leadership in college. leadership that pushed the best out of them.

They don’t have that anymore.

mediocrity existed loooong before Zeke and Cooper. Started in 2007 I would say.

there is no fear.
we dont need a yeller/holler'r/screamer type.
as much as players have been empowered...it won't work.
we need someone with Landry's disposition...players loved him and feared him.
he didnt yell,holler,scream or cuss.
he stared with that...so what...its your job...kinda stare.
and if you didnt make the plays you were benched, cut or traded.
period.
is that Urban Meyer?
is that Matt Rhule?
is that Ron Rivera?
I don't know....but we need fear of repurcussions of failed plays to return.

I agree with you, but at this point, you HAVE to hold players accountable. They are grown men. They shouldn’t need “inspiration” from a HC to force themselves to play a crucial down in a crucial game even if they are tired or “hurt”. Football is a tough sport. I don’t care if you have the HC for it or not, the mentality these players have will NOT win games. A new HC isn’t going to magically fix that. The player has to fix that from within.

Zeke is one of many who got paid and took a vacation.

I like Zeke, he needs to re-dedicate. Will he, with bank already secured? Tough to say, but that’s the way this FO rolls. Pay guys, that haven’t won a damn thing

Why he took himself out

Liar. Dak: “I had bad throws....Who knows”.

Amari: “The coaches took me out!”

Zeke: “I hit my head!”

Excuse, after excuse, after excuse. What a damn joke. These are our supposed “triplets”. They don’t even deserve to be compared to the triplets of the 90s or even Romo, Murray, and Bryant. At least they had passion. They didn’t excuse anything.

That's an indictment on the strength and conditioning of these players. Good grief.

I’m willing to bet money that Zeke being taken out of games is on the staff. They give him the green light just like Aikman said.
