I really enjoyed ESPNs coverage.

Day 2 & 3 is when NFLN starts taking over because all ESPN will want to do is talk about the first few picks of the first round.

isnt that the truth. ESPn will keep going on about Winston and Mariota all through the weekend, meanwhile 5 picks have been. and then there is the quick Mel kiper rundown, and then back to the 1st few picks of the 1st round

Curious, which one of the guys is your preferred running back to grab and what round are you thinking?

I personally don't think it's a must to grab a runningback. However, if Yeldon or Duke are there in the third, I would pull the trigger. I think Yeldon's style and experience actually makes him the best fit for this offense out of all the backs in the draft. I just don't know that after Coleman any of the runningbacks left are 25 carries a game kind of guys.

I really don't want us to move up in the 2nd for a RB. If we are moving up please be for one of the defensive studs still available.

Kendricks
Gregory
McKinney
Preston Smith
Odighizuwa
Goldman
Edwards Jr.
Perryman

Just way too much defensive talent on the board to trade for a RB. We can sit at 60 and get Ajayi or maybe Duke Johnson

I really hope they don't give up a 3rd again this year. They need to try and get 3 picks tonight somehow.

Sorry, I should have clarifies, calling the picks live. And I don't mean as the card was being turned in. I mean at pick 3 or 4, he was already saying who picks 5 and 6 would be. I believe he got the first 14 right on the money. Everything until the trade. I know it's not the same as nailing your mock, but it was still pretty impressive and showed that he may be more in tune with what teams are thinking.

He alllllllmost made it sound like he knew the Cowboys already had a trading partner. That's why I put it here in a rumor thread.

The televised draft was delayed. If you have somebody at the draft or follow twitter, you get the picks ahead of when they are televised.

As I said, he was calling them several picks ahead. I mean, I literally said that in the post you quoted.

And to my recollection the delay is somewhere around 45 seconds. So, even the ones he didn't call picks ahead, he was calling them as soon as the team was on the clock, not 5-7 minutes into their pick.

If the delay is longer than that, you could be right about some of them. I had no idea the delay was that long if that's the case though.

*Edit I think I get what you mean. If someone is in the war room before the pick is announced. I guess there's a chance that was the case, but he was making them so quickly, essentially as soon as a team came up he would call his shot.
