With the start of training camp i just want to say i think with some of the baggage we've let loose i'm really excited and looking forward to the 09/10 season! I know the releases of T.O(though he is a playmaker) and Pacman are old news but whatever, we'll be more successful without them.

The start of the season for me is marked by the soon release of Madden :laugh1:

We missed the playoffs and sucked last year because of TO on offense and Pac on Defense :laugh2:

More like we had drama that distracted the team for a good amount of the season caused by T.O and Pacman. If you don't think that drama impacted the team you need to leave the fantasy land you're in.

No T.O., No Pacman, No Jessica, No more excuses...

All the scapegoats are gone. Now it will be interesting to see how the team pans out and who the homers will blame next. Surely is JG and Wade in 2009, who will it be in 2010.

Injuries, not those things you listed were the biggest problem last year. But you've kept to your agenda well. "Jessica"...c'mon.

I'm hoping there are no "scapegoats" and that everyon does well, but we all know who you'd like to be the scapegoat...

I hope nobody. I hope that it's a 10+ win season this year with a playoff win included. We the fans deserve it. One more year with no post season wins and im looking for a "curse of the ______" somewhere....

I think there is a bit of revisionist history going on in this thread.

Furthermore, we still have Wade Phillips and an unproven Offensive Coordinator, which I believe were part of the problem last year.

Probably back to Jerry Jones.

Though I don't guess you'd call someone a scapegoat when they're being blamed for their own misdeeds, not those of others.

Anderson doesnt have Brady Swag, should not be an issue.

That "Brady swag" has kept him on the bench his first 2 seasons.

Cowboys just need to focus on the task at hand. No one is looking for excuses this is the team we have and they have the talent to win.

How many Playoff Games did we win in 2007 and a strong argument can be made that Tony Sporano was a major part of the Regular Season success we had.

Furthermore, after "2008", there are some reasonable concerns about Jason Garrett.

Zero playoff wins.

So Garrett doesn't get all the credit for 2007 when Sparano was there but he does get all the blame for 2008 when Sparano was gone?
