No talent Campo teams played with more heart

Those 3 years of 5-11 when the team had NO TALENT at all, those guys played with heart and fire. We lost a lot of close games, but we had no cap room or first round picks 2 out of the 3 years.

I'm not proclaiming we make Dave Campo the head coach, but jeeeze Louise the penalties and mistakes I see now are not that of a championship team.

Management and coaching is an important factor in this league, that is where we are getting our *** kicked.

Our blitzes our telegraphed, our coverage soft. The other team constantly knows what we are going to do and we have no clue what the other team is up to.

I've never coached a team in my life and sadly I feel I could do better.

I don't remember much from the Campo years. Seriously, it is as if someone has erased that era from my mind. I remember Hard Knocks and I remember the announcers kicking the Cowboys when they were down, but I don't really remember much about the players and their performance. I do remember them losing a lot though. Did they have heart? I honestly don't remember.

I think back to a game against SF when TO was doing his thing on the start and Emmitt took the star back after a TD and Teauge bounced TO off of the star.

Those guys cared and fought for the star.

As soon as Dave took a ride on that whale, you could tell the players would just walk through walls for him.

I think back to a game against SF when TO was doing his thing on the start and Emmitt took the star back after a TD and Teauge bounced TO off of the star.

Those guys cared and fought for the star.

Cared enough to get blown out of the stadium.

You can't quantify things like "care". You can results. And while we are not getting results right now, in every quantifiable way this team is vastly superior to Campo's teams. Pining for them is like pining for a syphillis flare-up.

Now of course I remember that, but Teague was ALONE when he decked TO. Kudos to Emmitt, although he was criticized by some for being so demonstrative. Since then, the Star has been desecrated many times including by, of all teams, the Lions. Our players just watch it happen every time. Then again, what can they do without being penalized?

No they did not. They were pitiful too. This team has not played with any heart since Aikman left!
