Fatalist...fire Quinn...fire McCarthy. Cut a few players. Kidnap Jerry Jones.
Optimist...relax...road...letdown game...Bills needed it more...Hankins out...crowd noise...Martin out...player illness.
Realist...The Cowboys don't have a road-warrior mentality. Quinn's defense again shows a disturbing and inexplicable inability to stop the run. Cowboys must now win three consecutive road games to reach the Superbowl. Pretty tall task given what happened on Sunday.
Personal take...At this point, as it pertains to Quinn, I can take him or leave him. The Dallas offense is definitely different on the road...which doesn't bode well AT ALL for the playoffs. It's hard for me to see the 2023 Cowboys reaching a Superbowl after this recent debacle. They don't run well and they don't pass as good as they do when at home. You can lose in a letdown game but you can't surrender 266 rushing yards and get blown out. And now the media hacks will descend and brand them once again as a team that can only beat scrubs. A team you JUST CAN'T TRUST at the end of the day.
As much as I hate to write it...the 49ers look like a team headed to a Superbowl. The Cowboys look like a team destined for an early exit for a third consecutive year.
