maybe I didnt search deep enough but if SL spit the bit more over the next week or two and Jerry and Stephen already on a firing button. does Haley get a second look?

thoughts?

Haley has shown he can not work well with others.

Anyone that hires him at this point is foolish.

He doesn't have people skills.

Chiefs players hated him. Big Ben couldn't get along with him. He was part of the Browns coaching staff debacle.

Decent offensive coach with an unjustified large ego.

Once you bottom out with the Browns, it's pretty much over from there.

Along with his abrasive personality, he's more of an old school thinker in terms of schemes.

He'd be an upgrade over Linehan, but what this team needs is new thinking, not old retreads.

I don't like Todd Haley, but any coach at all over Jason Garrett is the motto until this clown is gone. The upside is at least Jerry wouldn't be married to him. Replacing the OC simply won't be enough.

College bound at this point.. Can't see a situation for Haley in pros, other than position coach.

I thought WE we're the poster child for players and coaches needing 3-4 chances.?

We are not?

Damn..

we done lost another identity.

First we we're the best OL in the NFL..

Not anymore.

Now we have run out of Charity cases to bring in with this.

Ugh.

I think Haley is a good coach. Always ran productive offenses in Arizona and Pittsburgh. That said he is a nutty guy that can either be great or blow something up. Is he better than Linehan - Absolutely. So if we were going to fire Linehan and replace with Haley I would say yes. Other than that I would pass because the outcome is too binary.

I would prefer a whole new coaching staff though.

I’m not understanding this Todd Haley talk on the board? Why would anyone want him? He drove Pitts offense into the toilet, then was awful in Cle too, while creating drama for both. Hue I’d take as a play caller,he’s good at that....but Haley? Best to sink to the bottom as is with Linehan, than have that madman take us full throttle into the abyss.

I was on here yesterday pounding the table for Dallas to at least make the call and interview him. Seems like he would be an upgrade.

Parcells rubbed guys the wrong way too. You don't need to be liked to be a good HC or Offensive coord. You just need to be good at what you do. I would take Haley in a heartbeat.

Isn't the point - anyone but Scott Linehan. I mean anyone. The challenge though is an outside coach changing a scheme mid season. That can't work.
