This again? Rooting is something that makes an individual feel good. Some people take it a step further than it really is, thinking rooting will makes some sort of cosmic difference in real life.

Root until snot runs out your nose. Do not root for one second. Same thing will happen if you root or not root for the Eagles or the Chiefs, which is nothing at all.

It is why I always wonder why anyone wants to root for any team other than their favorite? Rooting for your favorite team makes that someone happy. Does rooting for other teams make a person happy as well? Well. Strike that last question. Some people believe rooting creates wins and losses, lol.

Personally, I think rooting for Dallas alone, in every conceivable and non-conceivable situation, is enough to make a Cowboy fan happy. Just my two cents.

Exactly, rooting does absolutely nothing unless it creates enough stadium noise that it causes the other team to false start or something like that. But other than that, sitting your arse on the couch and rooting like a mad man at the TV accomplishes absolutely nothing if we are being 100% accurate.

That is why I laugh my arse off at the homers on this board that say, despite the team constantly losing, "they will never quit on their team, they are true fans and will root till the end"

They actually think it matters if they root or not if the Cowboys win or lose, like they seriously believe that, LOL. And not just he homers either, even the draft pedos that want to lose every game for higher draft position think if they root for losses hard enough, it will happen. They seem to not be able to grasp the simple distinction between being a "participant" vs being an "observer".

Living in the Philadelphia area and having to deal with the hatred from the Philadelphia fans towards the Cowboys my whole life it would certainly do my heart good to see this whole town walking around with a hang-dog look and their tail between their legs after Patrick mahomes rips their heart out and gives them a beatdown.

The Eagles will have played in five Super Bowls, winning 1 at this point.

The Chiefs are within one game of the Cowboys in both categories.

In my opinion, historical relevance supersedes division rivalry.

Besides, a SB victory by a division rival increases the stature of the entire division.

No other division in the NFL has as many SB championships than the NFC East.

Now, I'm not saying we should openly root for the Eagles. I'm just saying, from a historical aspect, it would be better if the Chiefs lost.

From a ex longtime Cowboy fan who now hates them because of Dak. One reason I would root for the Eagles is because it would be like steel toed Kodiak work boot kicking Jerry and Dak right in the face.
That being said I could care less who wins.
It's the Eagles vs the cheating refs.

As much as I dislike the Eagles, there are more reasons to want them to win than there are reasons to want them to lose.
No team as ever imo been as favoured and protected by the league, than the Kansas City Chiefs… The officiating when they weren’t given a clear first down against the Bills, and also the over protection that the give to Mahomes is ridiculous, when teams play the Chiefs it’s not a level playing field.
Then there’s the circus surrounding Taylor Swift that the league obviously love because it gives them publicity around the world, in parts where normally there’s be no interest.
Do the league want to see an upset Taylor Swift and the millions of people who only watch because of her, no they most certainly don’t.
And lastly, but certainly not least…
There’s the extra negative comments and publicity another Eagles win will be aimed at the Jones family for being the losers that they have become.
So yeah, this Cowboys fan since they first showed the NFL in the UK, wants Philadelphia to win today.
