He is here through the 2022 season. Two more years of this at a ridiculous cap number for position.

The way its structured Jerry basically gave him a fully guaranteed four year deal. I would have left him in Cabo. He was a malcontent long before then.

He probably realized yesterday how good this SF front seven is and decided no thanks.

Contrary to what some idiots think, I’m not happy zeke isn’t playing and I don’t want to see anyone injured but as the saying goes “next man up”. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t expect Pollard or zeke to have a great game against this defense which is ranked 8th against the run and the zeke fan boys will jump all over Pollard if he doesn’t have a great game, as if zeke would have.

Pollard is a complementary back and a kick returner.

I guess some have suggested he start lately but he isnt that at all. He wasnt that at Memphis.

That was pretty much my point. I'm a fan, but think Pollard is basically a reserve back. That being said, I hope he runs the doors off San Fran.

Other than they’re the Jets, why in the hell would the Jets give up a 2nd when they already have Bell and have so many other positions of need?

Even if they didn’t have Bell, no RB with his contract is worth a 2nd or even a 3rd.

Will Pollard average over 3.9 yards per carry?

I don’t think so but would be very excited if he did. If you look at zeke’s average of other teams we’ve played with a top 10 run defense his numbers are pathetic with the exception of the first game of the year against the Rams (when our O line was still mostly intact) and against the Giants. His numbers against Seattle, Pitt and Washington were pathetic and that’s being generous.

But you watch, if Pollard puts up similar numbers to what zeke did against those last 3 teams I mentioned, his hypocritical panty sniffers will be the first to say “told ya so.”

Remember, if Zeke has a bad game it is the OL, QB, coaches, everyone else's fault no matter the opponent.

We don't need any more confirmation that Pollard is better than Zeke. That has been established for awhile now.
