Dak has to show up in the playoffs. Regular season means nothing. Dak is hanging by a thread for me. I will would move on after that.
Are you sure?

You don't have to see if the 8th years a charm first? lol

Why do I feel like you'll be right back on the Dak wagon the closer to next season we get? lol

Has anybody notice that Noah Brown has reverted back to being a jag ever since a certain someone is back under center?

These are his statlines the last 3 games

1 catch 5 yards

5 catches 50 yards

1 catch 3 yards

0 Tds

What happened??

Noah Brown happened. Not knocking him but he's a 5th WR(at best 4th) on most teams and this is the type of production to expect from him. Credit to him for stepping up early in the season, especially when Gallup was out.

Gallup coming back and getting in game shape might have something to do with it…

But even Gallup has been meh.

Looks like a combo of leaning more on the run and forcing things to CeeDee.

I wont say this is a Dak issue specifically. Reality is Noah Brown had been a jag his whole career, stepped up his game for this season, but now teams have have a half season of tape on him. Time for one of three things to happen.... the Cowboys to adjust how they are using him, Brown to up his game even more, or he go back to the fringe #3/#4 role that he probably should have been in all along.

I don't want to spoil the results for anyone, but the last of those three options is going to be the most realistic.

No I don’t think people are particularly interested in discussing our former wr not putting up stats with jacoby brisket after we just lose yet another unbelievable heartbreaker to the packers lol
Oh, didn't seem to matter last week bc he had a good game and that is all people wanted to talk about rather than our W.

The game has changed. After what Rush has done with this team, it seems Dak is not special. You can’t pay a quarterback 40 million + to do nothing two years in a row in the playoffs. I can’t defend that.

Is he really a Jag though? His whole career, Dak was his QB.

Insert Rush and he at times looked like our best wideout.

Not to mention the emergence of 3TE sets....That used to be a role Brown would step into and be a hybrid WR/TE in those heavier sets. With the emergence of Hendershot/Ferguson hes a strict WR, and sliding down the depth chart as Gallup gets healthier.

Not to mention he isn't starting anymore.

These guys...the moving target is unbelievable. First it is...he can't get it to Ceedee. He can't target a guy like a #1 (15 targets), now it is...we can't get it to the 5th option in the passing game.

Lol....they are clowns.

What happened??

I don't really think this is fair for a couple of reasons.

1. Brown has only played 2 games since Dak has been back (Brown was out Week 8) and in 1 of those (Detroit) he had 7 targets & 5 receptions. Accordingly, he hasn't disappeared ever since Dak has been back, he just wasn't used in 1 of the 2.

2. In the 2 games before Dak came back Brown only had 5 yards in one, and 10 yards in the other, so throwing to him less was in progress before Dak came back.

3. I suspect Brown's decreased usage has more to do with Gallup and Schultz both being healthy, and maybe because we are having a lot of success running and focusing on that a bit more.

All this said, I would like to see him still be a factor, but with Lamb, Gallup & Schultz all healthy it's unlikely he will be a factor as consistently as earlier in the year.

Wel I think the facts remain don’t they? Trade for talented wr. Then give him away with no real explanation.

Ok he didn’t want to get a shot. Whatever. We got guys who’ll get suspended for domestic violence and we welcome them back.

The larger point of offensive weapons not working out is still at hand. What more can the team do to find success?

Haven't watched enough of the film to say one way or the other, but if I were a gambling man (Which I am) I would put a lot of money on Browns play slipping.

Even in the last couple games of Rush Brown had a combined 4 catches for 65 yards. Week 1 with Dak Brown had 9 targets for 5 catches and 68 yards. Against Detroit Brown had another 5 catches.

As mentioned I cant say definitively, but most evidence suggests it's Noah Brown being a limited receiver and Gallup coming back as a bigger contributor than Daks abilities.

I can respect you for owning it.

If only everyone one would open their eyes and see this dude is just hurting the team.

Offense wasn't the problem yesterday, not sure if people are aware of this.
