Twitter: Noah Brown on the OT turnover

It was 100 percent on Noah. Catch the ball. But inept coaching is the reason we were even in OT…

Dak threw it too hard. And low. Put the ball where he can catch it with his hands. Triangle grip.

Cooper 100% makes that catch or his presence on the field gives Lamb or Gallup the opportunity to 100% make that play. This is on Jerry for having Jags instead of Dawgs on the field for big moments.

Interesting.

What are the credentials one must have to be considered for an analyst position at PFR?

I’d imagine you have to have to be able to watch / evaluate players and have analysis that is smarter than most of what we see on here.

Yes, but how is that quantified?

What would be on the resume of a PFR advanced stats determiner that makes them any different from any longtime fan.

Could you, or I, or any other avid fan here on the Zone with a few decades of observation behind us use the same film to determine these eye test based advanced stats?

Not sure. Like most organizations, I’d imagine they look for specific relevant skills and experience and vet their employees through a thorough interview process.

I certainly wouldn’t be qualified.

Ball could have had more touch on it. It was a tough catch but mostly Noah’s fault.

Fair enough.

I honestly don't understand putting so much stock into something in which I can't have any confidence in the methodology behind it.

I would be very surprised if there were any real "qualifications" in play here. I'd bet many of us mere mortals here at the Zone are just as qualified as whoever PFR has watching tape and assigning grades. You included, my friend.

I hope I don't have to relay the "boy who cried wolf" story.

For Dallas, its the "fans who cried not Dak's fault". Every interception is excused as the receiver or the offensive line or someone other than Dak's fault in many people's eyes. It has happened so frequently that the time where it wasn't really Dak's fault, no one believes them.

I am just scared now.
You've got Mike, Jerry, and now Brown trying to fix Dak's head.
This is bad.

I can’t blame brown. Or dak either. I can only blame whatever coach allowed Noah brown to be on the football field at wide receiver in an NFL game
Lol, Brown has been very good in the 3 spot. This was his first 2 touchdown game. He has 40 catches on the season and could end up with 50 on the year. He has been a good edition to the team as the 3rd receiver.

That’s 100% on Brown.

He’s peaking at the safety to see where he is at. It takes his eyes away just long enough to drop it.

I mean "stuff" happens... they shouldn't have been in that position anyways. The Defense played like Dog-crap all day too. Total team loss IMO, Dak has to play better, and the defense definitely does or we have zero shot come playoff time. It's as simple as that.
