Noah Brown released by the Texans

I always liked Noah Brown, but I struggle with who you'd cut to bring him on. Do you risk losing a guy like Flournoy for him?

No, of course not and our 7 and 8 are better than him.

I wouldn't mind him back at all. I think he's better than Tolbert or Brooks.

Flournoy has size, and looked willing to block in pre-season, AND showed some hands/route/jump ball/contested ball ability out there so far.... He is our new Noah Brown with upside maybe - smaller school guy that looks like he has potential. We could use a bigger receiver type - so would like to see him make roster. I don't think he lasts on practice squad - although I always overestimate the desire for our squadders. Then again - bigger athletic guys are always worth checking out....

Flournoy is more like Dez Bryant than Noah Brown.

Noah had a couple of amazing games last year for the Texans. He will go somewhere and play and play well unless he has an injury issue. The dude is a solid blue collar guy who will do anything to help a team.

Brown was basically hurt all year last season.

He did put 2 consecutive games over 150 yards, through.

150 in 2 consecutive games shows he has value.

Noah had some huge games with the Texans. This is kinda shocking. I'd sign him again tbh... seems he does well with extended snaps.

I don't want to cut Flournoy or Cropper. I figured this cut was because Houston is deep and they have young talent they want to see develop, but I am suprised to see Noah is still only 28. He's a good signing somewhere. I wouldn't be upset if we found a way.

Definitely agree it's surprising cut.

Dude isn't a stud but is willing blocker, STer, and is a good depth receiver that can step up here and there.
