You may have sold me on the "Dez has to go" rhetoric, but to say Noah Brown is a viable replacement just seems like crazy talk. I like Brown's potential, particularly when it comes to blocking down the field, but the Cowboys need someone polished if we are to improve on Dez, which is what this offense desperately needs.
Because the previous 88 had better teams. You think if they were perennial losers stuck in mediocrity for years he wouldn’t have been a distraction?
Everything is great when you’re winning
The previous 88 wanted the ball all the time but he didn’t become a distraction and he gave you reasons to give him the ball and I bet if you look at targets in those days he got less targets than dez does
I don't agree with that either, but I understand the conclusion. Based on what we've seen lately, particularly with dropped passes, Dez hasn't done much to prove otherwise. I'm not sure what the disconnect is, but Dak and Dez are clearly not on the same page.I'm not saying Brown is great. I'm saying Dez is no better than Noah Brown. There is a difference.
Butler was 8 of 11 at one point this season and almost all of those were long passes.I remember last year when Romo played he caught a TD
Dak is unable to throw the routes he runs

One reason Dez can't get open is that they quit having him run option routes where he has to "read" the defense and decide which route to run. He had many screw ups doing it when Romo was here but Romo continually coached him on the field before the snap. They couldn't put that coaching responsibility on Dak as a rookie and they did try it this year either.I don't agree with that either, but I understand the conclusion. Dez is so easily taken off his game. He’s physically tough, but mentally he doesn’t have it.
They threw to Noah Brown 3-4 times yesterday, he had less separation than Dez.
The wr answers are not currently on the roster. Neither is the qb, but that is a whole different thread.
So your evidence is the sideline camera from the past two years?
Give me a break.
There are no WR answers as long as Garrett is coaching here.

I tried to say make him a tight end weeks ago. You’re on to something
he stabbed a teammate in the neck! LOL.
He is more of a head case then Dez. Not sure why some want to get rid of Dez for being a cancer but then want to replace him with Martavis.Martavis Bryant wants out of Pittsburgh...
Agree; although if he was cheap, he wouldn't have the Jerry favored-child status that has enabled Dez.He is more of a head case then Dez. Not sure why some want to get rid of Dez for being a cancer but then want to replace him with Martavis.
He won't be cheap and will cause the locker room to explode. Especially if we draft a receiver. Look what he said to Ju JuAgree; although if he was cheap, he wouldn't have the Jerry favored-child status that has enabled Dez.
I think people that want him think he will be relatively cheap. That's the only reason I can think of that they want him.He won't be cheap and will cause the locker room to explode. Especially if we draft a receiver. Look what he said to Ju Ju
