Only a few players play every snap the entire game on each side of the ball.

QB and the OL. Maybe some DB’s.
WR and RB need a breather now and then. As the Wr are rubbing downfield or across the field all the time.

Agreed, but there were points where Cooper was taken off when it didn't seem he needed to.

I get it, players need breathers, but even Collinsworth pointed out, they were sometimes telegraphing run/pass by taking out Cooper and putting in Brown.

Amari Cooper was able to produce right away

Slight difference from a guy who's started and played at real game speed vs. a guy who's taken practice snaps. Also, he's just not that good.
