Noah Brown

2019 receivers group?

1. A. Cooper
2. M. Gallup
3. N. Brown
4. A. Hurns ?
5. C. Wilson
Slot - T. Austin
Probably so, I cant see them paying Beasly top money. With Cooper, he is not near as important. Then you have Gallop developing.

2nd round TE
3rd round - RB
4th RD- slot rec-punt returner

In any order

Use the money that would have been spent on Beasly for ET

He is known more as a blocking receiver, but when he has gotten the ball he has been a problem for the defense to bring down.

I'd like to see him get 2-3 catches a game.

It would be nice to not have the defense almost know its a run when he is in the game.
I think he is good for a 5th or 6th WR....he can play in a pinch if we need him too. the one thing I like to see more is using him in passing game when he is in. we tip off our hand so obviously when he is in, put him in motion and get him inside as a blocker and everyone knows we are running the ball....so its good that he is getting a few looks...we need more.

Beasley needs to go to a team like LA or NE. I think he’d ball out on a more pass heavy team.

Beasley ain't going nowhere
Why not? Subpar slot receiver who is 30 years old, at the end of his contract and wants big money. His production can be replaced by a rookie. With all the talent on the team that needs contracts no need to put money into a slot receiver that can't elevate this team

I have Noah idea why he isn't used more, but it seems like he is on the field a little more recently - and as someone else said, Williams can be cut right now IMO (loser) and Brown gets those snaps

I think they brought in Hurns to replace him. You can even go Hurns and Gallup outside and use Cooper in the slot next year to make things fun for DCs.

Hurns best year came when he was in the slot. Hurns needs to be playing mostly in the slot

In the past couple of games they have passed a few times on those plays where he motions down behind the OLine.

He is a mismatch as a WR. Defenses tend to play Nickel against 3 WRs but he Browns' ability to block LBs gives the Cowboys an advantage running the ball when the defense plays Nickel. If the defense plays base with Brown in the game, then the Cowboys have an advantage on passing plays.

If they made him into a TE, he would just be an undersized TE without the same match-up advantages.

Yeah we can do either, Hurns and Cooper both like playing in the slot, that's where I'd definitely put them both if we go 4 wide in 2019. I'd say between Hurns, Cooper, Gallup, Austin and Wilson, we already have our receivers for next year. Go get us a complement for Zeke and a true #1 TE and a ballhawk for the secondary and I'll be pleased.

I really like Cooper and Gallup on the outside. They both have the ability to kill corners and get behind the defense. Dak has been getting better throwing it deep down the sideline but still missing some at times.

Just turn him into a pass catching TE. Problem solved.
hes going to have to eat at Mcdonalds 3 times a day to get close to a real TE weight to handle all the stuff at the line.. if hes only a Pass catcher then hes WR not a TE.. way to resolve this is use less TEs and more 4-5 WR sets but hats not our game , yet..

Is Noah the one that ran a route that Aikman said it was the best one he has ever seen?

the weakest unit is the OL

Why have they been waiting? I don’t get it? I’d forgotten how nice a player he was at Ohio State.

Sorry - THE Ohio State University.

I don’t know. I guess the hamstring might have been worse than we realized and he was legit on IR because of it. Or maybe Lal just liked Thompson and they waited until he was dropped to net the pick to activate Brown and give him a spot. I’m not sure.

Maybe that's why Buck was shocked - Aikman saw HOF Irvin run that route a lot and still called Brown's better. Idk.

Buck was too busy loving himself to pay much attention to anything. Joe Buck needs to get a room with himself.

He’ll be getting his 1-2 looks per,he’s earned it running like that the last two games. Like the fight in him,and goes with the physical style they want to play.
