Not to make excuses, but this team had no depth to start the year. Lose Tyron Smith, Brown, Lewis, Steele and now maybe LVE and this team is a shadow of its former self.

Draft picks Joseph and Wright are at best "not ready for prime time" players.

Biadasz and McGovern were never any good. Ball is green as grass. Gallup isn't back from injury yet and may never be.

And yes, Dak hasn't gotten to the level of a Brady, Manning, Mahomes, etc. But if he had all that much potential he'd not have lasted until the 4th round in the draft.

So let's say move on from Dak. What does Jerry do?

1. Draft a top quarterback. Oops, won't work, they've already won 9 games, too far down the draft order this year.
2. Trade for one? See the above depth issues. NO quarterback can drive this team to a SB win, it's just not good enough.
3. Promote Rush? Like Dak, if he had all that much potential he'd have been drafted early. And he wasn't.

Sorry fellow fans, we're stuck with Dak, stuck with Jerry, stuck in perpetual mediocrity.

Do like I have done, just watch the games, after they're over, watch the next one.

Or find another team to root for, because like me, if you're a Cowboys fan for life, and expect SB wins, ain't happening as long as Jerry or family runs the team.

I would not even call a pass on third dow aggressive. I would bet that just about every coach passes on that situation. A run is an automatic punt with over a minute to go. Yes, no timeouts but, but easily enough time for an NFL team to get into FG range. A first down there ends the game.

So it was an EASY call to pass the ball. I mean, super easy call.

That ball was where it needed to be. If he leads him and puts the throw up Jenkins picks it or lights Brown up. Dak did his job there. He put the ball down where only his guy could get it. Even the average receiver makes that catch in the regular. Brown is all or nothing. He either makes a highlight reel catch or he cost you dearly.

Categorically not. MC is just as bad at managing the clock as Jason Garrett were. You didn't have to throw, you had to run and make Jacksonville lose their last timeout. Running a no huddle offense is not the same as having at least one timeout. Another stupid MC decision...Another one.
