Younger brother of Penei Sewell (OT for Detroit). This guy should be on our first round radar.

His draft slot range is at the top of the 2nd round right now. He is situated in no mans land for the Cowboys. Too early to take with our first and getting picked way before our 2nd round pick.

If we’re picking in the late 20s it wouldn’t really be a reach, of course depending on who’s available. Get him and then Keeanu Benton in the 2nd and our run defense would get a lot better.

I’d take him in a heartbeat if he’s available late 2nd.

I think Sewell is exactly the type of MLB the Cowboys need...a thumper. I like this LB violent n explosive, when he hits the ball carrier it's over.

At the same, time I don't think Dallas will value him, at all. Drew Sanders n Jack Campbell may be more on the radar than Sewell.

Same, and so quick to diagnose. Reminds me a bit of Bolton coming out.

He just has to run well. Going to need to see a sub 4.7 40 to remain interested.

Exactly. With Parsons and Clark as OLBs, what we need is a thumper in the middle. Even though LVE is improved, we can’t rely on him staying healthy. LB and NT become big needs for the front 7 of this defense. The CB market is deep this year, so we don’t have to grab one in the first round.

I don't see the speed or quickness needed for a MLB. I admit to not watching lots of Oregon games, but even in the highlights above, he looks like he would be the one I picked on if I were an OC for a NFL team. I like the idea of a MLB or NT in the first, but anything slower than a 4.6 I don't think would start in Dallas, with Quinn's D and excel. Ideally a Mike in Quinn's D can stack and shed, cover TE and backs, and blitz allowing for Parsons to move all over the place. Run slower than a 4.6 and many TE's and backs are getting isolated on him and can just run away from him.

I wanted Bolton but it didn't work out that way. We seriously need to invest in LB every other draft. Good LB's can make avg DT's look good.

He looks like he's running in molasses. Yeah, he hits well but he looks slower than LVE. I don't know what some of these posters see in some of these guys.
