Non Competitive defense

I have been watching the cowboys for 35 years and i have to say that this is the worst excuse for a defense i have ever seen. The secondary is about the worst collection of losers to ever suit up on a football field. I really dont think any of these clowns could compete in the arena league.

Demarcus Ware and Sean Lee are the only two on the defense that have any business identifying themselves as pro football players.

But again this all gets back to Jerrah Jones, this defense has been bad for a while now and he has done absolutely nothing to try and fix it.

That Ratliff guy is pretty good also

Yeah, but interestingly enough he got the crap kicked out of him Sunday night by a backup center. So you know what, sorry Ratliff, theres the door.

OVERREACTION.. lol sorry, but this isn't the worst Cowboys defense you have ever seen.. The defense was horrible in my eyes this year as well but you shouldn't just spout out silly remarks like the worst Cowboys defense you've seen, when it clearly isn't..

Jerry was the one who put this crap on the field. Jerry was the one who stated that the Cowboys were "set" at the CB position after last season, even though Newman and Jenkins took gigantic steps backwards from their 2009 campaign, and they were major reasons why the Cowboys posted the worst defensive performance in the history of the franchise. Jerry keeps placing below-average stop-gaps at the Free Safety position. And Jerry was the one who drafted a defensive player in the 2nd round this year who didn't even contribute because he was hurt, when he SHOULD have used that pick on someone who might have been a legitimate starter this year.

Then, he hired Rob Ryan and expected him to turn water into cristal.

This organization is in turmoil because the Cowboys have a backwards thinking GM who is in a constant state of denial, and he's completely clueless in regards to fielding a winning product.

it absolutely is the worst defense i have ever seen hands down. Almost unwatchable and borderline non competetive. How you can even come on here and defend this group of absolute pathetic losers is laughable. You tell me one time this season when they needed to come big and delivered and ill delete this post.

The thing is I'm not defending them, they were a horrible defense this year when it came to crunch time and shutting a team down, but the stats, from yards allowed to scoring defense tell you they are far from being the worst Cowboys defense you've ever seen, unless this is your 1st year to actually pay attention to the games in 35 years. I am calling you out for overreacting.. This defense isn't even close to being the worst you have ever seen my friend

not overreacting at all, this IS by far the worst defense i have ever seen. Statistics dont mean squat, again tell me one time this defense came up with a stop when the team needed it? Even the 1-15 year the defense competed every week. This defense routinely made the opposing QB look like Joe Montana every week. I wanted to vomit every time i watched this defense this year.

After you get through OVERREACTING for a couple of days, go look up some Cowboys history, just b/c they don't come up with stops in the 4th doesn't mean they aren't making plays the other 3 quarters.. That isn't making excuses for them at all, just saying they are far from being the worst & yes stats do mean something when you are saying foolish things like this. You can't just talk about 1 portion of the game to determine who the worst defense is in Cowboys history, but this is a silly argument anyways... I do agree that this defense is very bad, but please don't make silly threads like they are the worst you've seen

again i ask you, when did you ever see this defense make plays? Against Tampa? Against Seattle? Against St. Louis? Against The Commanders?

Look at their stats against the Eagles, the Giants and any other quality team. Every time they were challenged they failed miserably. IMO this is the worst Cowboys defense i have ever seen.

This defense looks like it was assembled with parts from the Land of Misfit Players. After 6 years of the 3-4 we aren't very close to having the right personnel for it, but we aren't really set for a 4-3 either. We sign players to large contracts that don't seem to be merited (ahem, Scandrick I am looking at you), retain coaches who frankly do not seem to inspire performance, improvement, or confidence in the players or fans (ahem, Campo I am looking at you), and even then, don't seem to put in a scheme that maximizes what skills we do have (ahem, Ryan, I am looking at you).

This defense may not be the worst we've ever had, but Lord, they are trying.

Every week?? lol, the defense did a pretty good job of shutting down Sanchez-Stafford-Brady-Feeley-Fitzpatrick-Smith-Kolb-Jackson-Grossman the 1st time-Freeman ...... So Eli & Vick-Moore & Grossman ... = 6 games , lol yup every opposing QB looked like Montana .. This is what I am talking about with your OVERREACTING

Sanchez sucks

Stafford ended up beating us

Brady ended up beating us

Feeley sucks

Fitpatrick sucks

Kolb ended up beating us

Jackson sucks

The 49ers are not a throwing team, Smith is a mediocre QB at best. Romo won that game for us, the defense tried to give it away if you recall

Grossman sux but he still cut us to pieces

Matt Moore cut up our defense like a thanksgiving Turkey, Brian Hartline looked like Jerry Rice in that game

Yeah, I agree the defense rarely came up with stops but you can easily give this guy examples such as defensive stops in the 49ers game-first Commanders game-They also gave the offense the ball back in the Miami game where the Dolphins only needed a couple 1st downs to seal the game

Almost every team in the NFL has no defense.

lol they suck?? You said they all looked like Montana against us I thought? So you can turn everything around to they suck so you are able to win your silly argument

The Ravens, Steelers, 49ers and Texans would like a word with you. And wow, amazingly enough every one of those teams is in the playoffs.

lol you say Stafford & Brady ended up beating the Cowboys... Are you really not going to give the defense any credit for the way they played against those 2 QB's????? SERIOUSLY, my god dude
