The members of Air Coryell with the Chargers back in the day. Joiner, Winslow, Jefferson, Chandler, Fouts and Chuck Muncy and his sexy glasses.

Earl Campbell.

Darrell Green....well I didn't root for him but despite him being a Commander I always thought he was a hell of a player and a class act.

i always had a thing for Dan Campell. I got my picture taken with him when i went to Giants training camp a while back, and ever since then i always rooted for him.

I forgot about Marcus Allen.......while I hated that he was a Trojan....the way he abused the Skins in the SB, made me an instant fan.

I enjoyed the Bo Jackson experiment. Too bad he got SO hurt in the hip.

I liked Jim Kelly and kinda' rooted for a lot individual Bills, including Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed back in the day when those poor guys couldn't buy a SB win.

I like Randy Moss a ton, even though I'm in a vast minority.

I was glad for Trent Dilpher when he won a SB too.

Other than that, there's never gonna' be an Eagle, Giant, Commander, Whiner or Saint on my list. Probably the biggest non-Cowboy's I rooted for EVER were Earl Campbell and Elway. And a big reason I rooted for Elway was because I got no use for Brett Fart and I'm glad that Elway "got his" off of Favrefverrorvereorre's ***.

Steve McNair, Warren Moon, Randy Moss (Minnesota years), Mike Alstott, Rod Woodson, rooted for John Elway briefly during his little Super Bowl run...also rooted for Kurt Warner & Co. last year really hard and I root pretty hard for Larry Fitzgerald now. While I'm a Cowboys fan through and through, I can appreciate good football when I see it.

Some others...John Randle, Samari Rolle (Titans years), rooted for the Ravens against the Giants that one year...depends on the smell of the air.

Unless it's this team:

not that i root for bush i just wanna see him be what he was supposed to be.

anybody on the pats is dead to me and i always get blasted but i think brady is the most over rated QB to ever play the game.

any stats to back up that idea?......

While he isn't the most clutch player in the league he is worthy of being in the top qb's of all time discussion.

Sure he has a good team but 50 tds on a good team is still unheard of.

+1 Something about this kid, I just love.

Walter Payton
Warrick Dunn. If there was a better human being in the NFL, I don't know who it is.

There's a saying that goes around my house that says "You ain't a Cowboy, You ain't nothing." Being that everyone in my house are big college football fans as well, we use this saying to keep ourselves honest when we're tempted to quietly root for a non Cowboy player that may have been a star on our college team.

My favorite current non-cowboy player roster:
QB: Troy Smith (still think he can be a solid QB in the league) Tom Brady
RB: Chris Johnson, Reggie Bush
FB: Leron McClain
WR: Devin Hester, Percy Harvin, Calvin Johnson, Wes Welker
TE: Dallas Clark
OL: Ryan Clady, Jake Long, Matt Birk, Jeff Saturday
DL: Robert Mathis, Jamaal Williams, Elvis Dumervill
OLB: Terrell Suggs, Ernie Sims
MLB: Ray Lewis
CB: Rashen Mathis, Antonio Cromartie
S: Ed Reed, Brandon Merriweather

I think my list is just formed of people who play well against the steelers. :laugh2:

Sure he has a good team but 50 tds on a good team is still unheard of.

no, no stats just watched him from begining to now and i see good decision making ability a good release and thats about it but i question if thats mostly A) very solid line play that really allows him to wait to make the right decision, and B) cheating, which allows him to know who might get open.

i think he is SO comfortable in the pocket it caused his injury last year. he gets praised for his pocket awareness but really he only has to move slightly not like most others that recieve the same praise.

i dont believe his play won him 3 rings i think his kicker did. you mention 50 TD but he would get the same praise if he didnt hit that mark plus moss thought he was back in 1998 that year lol.

not tryin to down play what he's done too much but i dont view the guy as elite i see him as a very solid QB who lucked into the best situation ever. i really just dont want him going down as one of if not the best ever...but he will.

i think that tom brady< matt cassel at the same point in their careers but, will cassel do what brady has done, in KC? doubt it. for me, in my mind, what cassel ends up doing= what brady would have done on another team.

my opinion and i know its not the popular one but it's the way i feel and you can point to whatever this that and the other but ive always formed my own opinions based on what i know, see, and my understanding of a subject and never have been swayed by the opinions of others. if you think he is great, fine thats great for him and you.

and then eventually when there is an enevitable drop off in talent or line play or they stop cheating, and brady is not seen as good or washed up people will say he's done or he has lost it i'll be saying he never had it...or maybe he is as good as advertised and he'll be good when his team is bad and i'll eat crow.

but i told everybody that if tom brady went down whoever is back there will be just as good if not better. they, in turn, informed me that their back up hadn't played a snap since highschool and i said perfect he'll do reat and they all laughed and said if pats had a winning record then brady went down at the end of the season...and then cassel had 2 400 yard games last year to go with an 11-5 record and i got the satisfaction of finally getting to say i told you so.:D

Jim Marshall, one of the toughest men on and off the field in the history of American sport. Bud Grant called Marshall "a physiological impossibility. He just doesn’t rip, bust or tear." 302 straight starts for the Vikings.
