Ware will get double digit sacks again this year and will help make that Bronco defense better than it was last year. He's not going to get sacks every week but people who expect that of production are completely unrealistic anyway.

I don't know if he's done or not but he'll get a lot more help on the Denver defense than he did with ours. It's a shame that he couldn't win a title with us. That's the way it goes I guess. We've had a lot of wasted opportunities over the years.

Going back to the 3-4 might take some wear and tear off the man...

It's going to be a damn shame to see Ware get 16+ sacks and make the Pro Bowl in Denver this year after the fans ran him out of town.

The fans didn't run Ware out of town. Jerry Jones and the salary cap did.

He had 42 sacks on third down. He had 31 sacks in the fourth quarter and 53.5 in the second halves of games. He had 25.5 sacks when the Cowboys were losing by 1-7 points and 27 sacks when they were winning by the same margin.

that is for those that claim he was not there when it mattered

It's nice to think the fans in DEN will appreciate it, for a little bit, anyway. The guy's all effort, and all class.

Considering he won't have to play every snap while being injured (because they have 0 depth behind him), I think he will have a great season. I know the Cowboys did what they had to do, and so did he. He is a great ambassador of the sport and I am rooting for him.

Yep. I think he has at least one great year there. I hope he does, anyway.

He's not Ray Lewis and acting insane every time he's on camera so he's not a leader.

Its amazing how many people really think that's the only way to be be a leader - getting all hyped up and rowdy. Its a good way to add people to the ignore list!

Too many people confuse leading with cheerleading. You can be both, but you dont have to be.

It was smart of Jerry to let him go but I can't help but think Ware will get 15+ sacks and Jerry will never do a smart thing again.

The leadership criticism aimed at the Cowboys was about in-game leadership, and lockerroom leadership before and during absolutely must-win games. I'm not sure this article negates that criticism.

I may be getting old and forgetful but I don't remember Charles Haley being some kind of great leader. I just remember him being on a hell of a lot better teams.
