proven wrong again... All it took for the Chargers to move up for the 12th pick was a 2nd and 4th round pick. Nevermind the Chargers are made a stupid pick, but that's not much.

Like I said, he was clueless..

A future #1 is the equivalent of a #2 pick in the current draft value-wise. And it was a really early 2nd.

A future #1 is equivalent to a #2 ? IN who's world other than yours ? Wait... " the chart says so .. "...

Let me guess, the two 3rd round draft picks the Beagles just gave up is equivalent to a future #1 too ...

Then look what the Eagles gave up. NFL Draft is a strange world!

I would explain to you concepts like the time value of assets, but it's pointless. I'll explain it to you simply.

An asset in your hand today is worth more than an asset in your hand tomorrow.

The chart doesn't say so.

But if the vast majority of people agree that it's true, then that is the market value.

Also, google "time value of money."

but wait, don't you know that 2nd round pick today is worth a #1 pick next year ?

What the heck have the Cowboys been doing all this years keeping their 2nd round picks. They should have traded those picks every year and get TWO #1 picks in every draft.

NFL draft picks is not " money ". There have been 2 trades ( in the last 4 years ) of current 2nd round picks for future #1 picks. One of them worked out ( Indianpolis trading for the Niners, selecting Tony Ugoh ), the other one hasn't ( Denver trading with Seattle, selecting Alphonso Smith, who's not even their 3rd CB..
