Just curious? I wonder what Norm Chow could do with the weapons we have on offense? I wonder what he could do to help the progression of Romo? I know it is not going to happen, but what could he do as offensive coordinator/assistant head coach with TO, Glen, Whitten, Crayton, JJ and MBIII?

Too bad he'd drop it :D

Oh no! Let's not start another of the TO 14 page drop threads!

ps For the record that was funny

Only if TO was disciplined. Norm is a stickler for discipline. His offense uses the entire field and every player.

Well, you just look at what he has done in TN with a team that was thought to be one of the NFL's worst, and a rookie QB. Pretty crazy to think what he could do with all the ofensive firepower we have.

I bet Norm Chow said this alot this season:

"No Vince No, damn, nice play".

14 pages would be 2 less than his drop number :D

Unless Norm can provide a pass rush, pass protection and is a shut down corner, he wouldn't be any better here than anyone else.

Probably right. He has had great offenses wherever he has been. Heck, he had N C State looking like a top 10 team during Rivers freshman year. I do wish he had stayed in Raleigh for his 4 years.

He has a good reputation for developing young quarterbacks and would provide a fresh perspective offensively. Obviously the defense is going to have to be upgraded but that is going to be the case no matter who JJ brings in. Assuming BP retires at the end of the season.

USC fans are rather glad he left I bet

I'm not sure how he'd do as a HC, but the man is a QB developing machine

Norm is a good guy. Yes, I know him. I played for him.

He interviewed for the Head Coaching job here at Arizona that mike Stoops got. I was hoping he'd be hired. I figured I could get a scouting job pretty easy if he was. According to Jim Livengood he doesn't do well in interviews.

He knows football. At least the offensive end of it. Knows it backwards and forwards. He eats it, he sleeps it, he breathes it. From what I gather when asked questions about the defense he had no plans to share. That will undoubtedly concern many organizations.

He is a QBs best friend because he will make you undestand progressions, reads, and audibles. He'll make you see openings in zones and above all you will learn the playbook.

You can take my word for it, the reason why Vince Young did so well this year is because his best friend in the world was Norm Chow. He didn't just talk, he taught. The results speak for themselves.

Correct.

No Yaergermeister sire. Although I know you were being funny, he wouldn't drop it with a healed hand and finger. Granted, he will always drop a few but this year his drops have been far above past seasons and a lot of that has to do with playing with injuries.
