Norm talks Wade's approach

Spags talks Cowboys

I think the issue with Wade's approach will always be there until we see what he does with this team in 2008.

It went well last season for a while, but that's not going to work this season.

He has to get this team to the Super Bowl in my opinion or he's gone.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Super Bowl or bust, but definitely winning in the post-season is an absolute, with an appearance in the NFC title game a close second.

Thanks for posting these, DCF.

I like the idea of Superbowl or bust for Wade. He needs to have the pressure applied with this roster.

Also good to know Jason Witten was thinking big picture on the goal line play where Tony Romo was intercepted.

Option one was to throw to Touchdown Tony Curtis and option two was for Romo to keep the ball and attempt to run it in. Witten told Romo not to get hurt in the huddle and that likely kept him from possibly trying to score himself and inviting all manner of unkindness from those defenders in the area.

He wins Super Bowl he's back - Red Ball can sit in the wings a year or too and he really is a newbie and could wet his pants as HC. HE'S SMART AND WILL WAIT HIS TIME HERE.

As usual, Norm is like the guy who hopped on his horse and rode off in four different directions.

We started great last year... But a dozen games into the season, camp might have caused us to fall off. What?

Camp is "overscheduled", and that's all Jerry... But if it doesn't work, Wade will be fired. (And Norm says things will be different when Wade is fired -- really? Is RJ suddenly going to tell Jerry how to run his team?)

One of those "overscheduled" events was "going too many places, like California and Denver." Cali worked for 25 years for Landry, and what, are we not supposed to go on the road for preseason games? Maybe we can convince the NFL to let us play all our games at Oxnard High School.

And finally, if they don't get to the Super Bowl, they're doing something wrong... But at the end, he says this team has done absolutely nothing.

Norm cares and Norm tries, but Norm says some very stupid things.

Norm doesn't seem to want to take a hardline on issues, so he ends up waffling back and forth going by what little I've listened to him.

He seems to want whoever he's talking with to make the bold proclamations.

I actually agree with Nors.

The only way Wade leaves after a SB win is retirement but I really doubt he would.

Romo needs to remember option 3, throw the ball away.

Of course, there is always the option of throwing the ball away.

If it was a regualr season game, Romo would have either tucked it, or thrown it away. But its pre-season, why not try a few things. In reality you guys should be happy it was intercepted, now he won't make that same throw again. One less INT we have to worry about.

You and Inman have me there.

Tony Romo does need to reduce his interception total this season.
